Press release: PROMIS - Getting to grips with Compliance and Certification

The overall aim of the market introduction of PROMIS is to deliver a cost-efficient and easy-to-use Internet based Environment, Health&Safety and Quality management service for use by SMEs, their consultants and associations.
It aims at establishing communities, based on an Open Source collaborative model, which will become the foundation to support the work of SMEs associations and consultants and facilitate the creation of an integrated collaborative working forum for environment, health&safety and quality. The establishment of such communities will accelerate and increase the Development of innovative solutions for environment, health and safety and quality management issues through the collective experience and talent of the persons involved in the communities.
By the end of the 3 year project phase, deployPROMIS will:

Have developed high quality interactive services -qualified also through Code of Conducts and Practice- for the benefit of micro SMEs, SMEs and their consultants;

Have localized the service and replicated it in other countries, tailoring it to the market requirements;

Have structured, translated and tailored the PROMIS contents and interactive services for internationalisation, building upon the concept of offering both free and paid for contents through a public private partnership;

Have organized workshops in Athens, Hamburg, Brussels, Bucharest, London, Rome with the goal to raise awareness, advertise the PROMIS system, methodology and the brand;

Have consolidated and increased the awareness, visibility and acceptance of the PROMIS brand which is protected at European and well known at international level;

Have set up the PROMIS@Service new company and concluded all necessary contracts and agreements among public and private partners, Content providers, user associations and strategic alliance partners, as well as the Intellectual property Rights registration, agreements and technology audit;

Continually update the technological capability of the PROMIS system to ensure it is ideally suited to the needs of SME's and their colleagues. Keep on the fore front of technological innovation, thus maintaining the existing unique selling proposition;

Have rolled-out the PROMIS Portal in Italy, Germany, England, Greece and prepared the new countries such as Romania for the market introduction.
